Our Story
Tongxiao Sourcing was founded to address a persistent problem in international trade: the gap between what overseas buyers need and what Chinese factories can deliver without proper coordination. Founded by Crystal Huang and operating through Shenzhen Tongxiao Translations Co., Ltd. (a registered company with import/export authority), we bridge this gap through deep local knowledge, clear communication, and structured sourcing processes. Our name "Tongxiao" (通晓) means "thorough understanding" — which is exactly what we bring to every sourcing engagement.
Our Background
We bring over five years of hands-on China sourcing experience, including two years as an independent sourcing agent serving international clients and three years at a Japanese trading company focused on ODM sourcing. Our team is trilingual — fluent in native Chinese Mandarin, professional English, and professional Japanese — enabling us to serve clients from diverse markets across Europe, North America, and Asia.

We evaluate factories against five key standards: product specialization to ensure the factory focuses on what you need, ISO certification for quality management systems, production environment assessment for capability and organization, export experience to confirm familiarity with international requirements, and local network presence because established relationships matter. Our quality control process includes checkpoints at every critical stage — material inspection, first article inspection, in-process inspection, pre-shipment inspection, loading supervision, and document verification — ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
